Hello everyone and happy Halloween!

Just to inform you all about a few changes that have happened over the last few months that have been pretty good however this entry starts with a little story.

After a death of a very good friend of mine I started thinking a lot about my own life and about how my friend of the same age had his taken from him.
His name was Oliver Thirling and he was a wonderful creative and very charismatic creature with an incredible sense of humour and insatiable curiosity for technology.
In this man I found a true creative equal, with numerous bizarre interests that were very similar to my own. In the times before he got sick we would always be tinkering with electronic toys, musical instruments and weapons or discussing our great love of art, playing music, drinking, taunting dangerous animals or just cracking jokes. The guy was a real inspiration to me and I know that I will always miss him.

Although Olly was a musical genius sadly not many past his loved ones new about it. He always made plans to form a band and do everything he could to try and show the world his talent but sadly only a select few were blessed enough to experience this.
Although not much happened on the whole band front Olly still had fun and played music when he was in and out of chemotherapy and even though he only had a
Short time left he did what he wanted to and I hope died happy.

So at work one night after the funeral I was thinking about this and about how I hated my job and about how I wasn’t using my art and how Olly went and how I didn’t want to regret anything when I died so I quit there and then.

Since then nothing but good things have been happening for me I like to call it “a series of small victories” Using Olly’s laid back approach to life and my positive thinking and dedication I walked into a new job with casual hours and I’m finally working as a tattoo artist and getting commission work.

It’s nice that things are going right for a change.
